Geometry Vocabulary

We are starting a new unit on geometry today.  Geometry has a lot of vocabulary and it is very important to know and understand it.

You are going to the Math Is Fun website and using the dictionary at  http://www.mathsisfun.com/definitions/index.html today.

For each vocabulary word, you need to give a definition, an example and use the symbolism when possible.

For example, #1 is Point.  Click on the blue "P" on the website.

Then click on the word "Point."

Then on your paper write the definition, draw an example and use the symbolism (how to name the point.)

Please add number 23 Transversal to your paper.

This is due when you come to class on Monday.
